District Information Office of Bogura and UNICEF, Bangladesh have jointly arranged an awareness building meeting for the transport labours at Central Bus Stand at Charmatha area in Bogura town on Tuesday noon.

The awareness building community program against virus infectivity and for taking second and third doses of Corona virus immunization for the transport labours in Bogura district and financially assisted by UNICEF, Bangladesh.

The awareness building community meeting was presided over by Senior Information Officer (Deputy Director) of Bogura district Muhammad Mahfuzar Rahman.

The Deputy Director of the department of labours, Bogura Labour Office Mohammad Shahiduzzaman was present as the chief guest in the program. In favour of the transport labours, Md. Fain Hossain, Joint-Secretary of Bogura district Labour Union, was also present in the crucial meeting.

Speakers said that the people especially the transport labours should follow the health and hygiene rules and regulations of UNICEF and World Health Organization (WHO). They also mentioned that positive approach of the government to ensure the opportunities of the transport labours and emphasized to follow the health and hygiene rules best.

The whole program was conducted by Firogul Haque Dablu, the official of district information office, Bogura.
