Advocacy meeting for college teachers on Tuberculosis by NATAB in Bogura district

National Anti-Tuberculosis Association of Bangladesh (NATAB), Bogura district unit arranged an advocacy meeting for the college, madrasha teachers at Tonmoy Community Centre at Dattabari area in Bogura town on Thursday afternoon.

The motto of the advocacy meeting is to build awareness among the common people of the country so that they can take preventive measures against Tuberculosis effectively.

General Secretary of NATAB, Bogura district unit and former president of Press Club, Bogura, Journalist Rezaul Hasan Ranu presided over the meeting while chief guest was the acting Civil Surgeon of Bogura and Humanitarian doctor of the district Shamir Hossain Mishu and Special Guest was the consultant of Chest Diseases Hospital of Thanthania Bogura Dr. Ayesha Siddika.

The coordinator of the programme and Assistant Professor of Kahaloo Adarsha Women’s Degree College and The District Correspondent of “The Asian Age” Md. Mamun-ur-Rashid and NATAB field-level officer Kamrul Islam were also present.

The speakers mentioned the symptoms of Tuberculosis and marked the preventive measures taken by the government so that the delegates can convey the message to the root-level people to Bangladesh free from Tuberculosis soon.

At the end of the meeting, a mind-blowing questing session went on and a life-like discussion was held in the questioning session.
