Bangladesh Safety food Authority with the aid of district administration of Bogura conducted a drive at a ghee shop and fined at Tk. 3 lakh against a ghee shop at Razabazar area in Bogura town on Monday afternoon.

A team of Bangladesh Safety Food Authority of Bogura led by District Safety Food Officer Md. Rasel conducted a mobile laboratory at “New Gondeshwari Ghee’ shop at Razabazar area in Bogura and traced out the presence of other ingredients in the ghee of the shop.

Immediately, Executive Magistrate of Bogura district administration Md. Sadman Akif conducted a mobile court and the owner of the shop confessed the mixing of other ingredients with the ghee and fined at Tk. 3 lakh under Safety Food Law-2013 and received the fined money.

During the mobile court, Executive Magistrate Taswar Tanjamul Haque, Inspectors of Safety Food Authority Md. Shah Ali, and Bhobesh Roy, other support staffs and a team of police were simultaneously present in the spot.
