The admission test for GST universities was conducted at the center of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University in Dinajpur. Nearly six thousand examinees participated in the exam.
The admission test for this A unit of the GST admission test was held from 12 pm to 1 pm at various buildings including Academic Buildings 1 and 2, Veterinary Faculty Building, Dr. M.A. Wazed Mia Building, Dr. Kudrat-e-Khuda Academic Building’s 3rd and 4th floors, Library, and HSTU School Building.
The exam started on Saturday at 12 pm and ended at 1 pm. On the same day, the architecture practical exam (drawing) was conducted from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
In preparation for the admission test for the 2023-24 academic year, the university administration started preparations several days before the arrival of a large number of examinees. As part of the preparation, seating arrangements for parents, separate washrooms for men and women, medical teams, and ambulances were arranged for the assistance of examinees.
Starting from the morning, examinees and their parents began arriving on campus. Regarding the overall preparation for the admission test, a parent said, “The atmosphere of the admission test is very good. I have brought my daughter here. The accommodation arrangements here are excellent. Everything feels good.”
After the start of the exam, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. M. Kamruzzaman, visited various centers of HSTU. At the end of the visit, he said, “The attendance rate for today’s exam at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University center is almost 93.22 percent.
I have visited every building, and the exam was conducted in an extremely organized and beautiful environment. Due to the GST system, students and parents have been relieved of unimaginable hassle. In this regard, everyone in the university family has worked sincerely.
Alongside, the district administration, police administration, medical college, fire service, and local administration cooperated comprehensively with us. We have ensured continuous preparation to tackle any emergency health situation, including medical centers and ambulances, and arrangements for fast aid medicine and relaxation for examinees and parents were made in front of every academic building, along with arrangements for transportation, washrooms, and facilities for disabled examinees. Similar arrangements will be made for the upcoming exams as well.”
It’s worth mentioning that the exams for the “B” unit on May 3rd and the “C” unit on May 10th (from 11 am to 12 pm) will be conducted.”
