The Tottho Apas of the upazila administration have been playing very vital roles in building awareness among the root-level disadvantaged women of the country.
The Joint-Secretary of Women and Children Affairs Ministry of the people’s republic of Bangladesh Government and Deputy Project-Director of Totthio Apa Project Second Phase Lokman Hossain was present as the chief guest in the yard meeting programs in Bogura.
He informed that the assigned Tottho Apas have been playing vital role in providing different information to the root-level disadvantaged and uneducated women of our country.
He was delivering speech at a yard meeting for the women empowerment by Lal Shobuj Market place, a government–run market for the women, on the second phase of Tottho Apa project conducted by Jatio Mohila Shangshad under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Ministry of the government at ward-02 in Bogura Municipality on Thursday.
Special Guests were the Deputy Director of the department of the Women Affairs, Bogura, Md. Shahidul Islam, Assistant Commissioner (AC-land) of Bogura Sadar upazila of Bogura Nadim Reza.
The whole program was presided over by Tottho Sheba Officer of Sadar upazila of Bogura Mrs. Ferdousi Akter and at least 50 disadvantaged women of the root-level society participated in the programme to be self-reliant.
