The day-long livestock service-week and exhibition was held at premise of sadar upazila livestock department and veterinary hospital in Bogura on Thursday noon.

Under the project of livestock and Daily development, sadar upazila livestock and Veterinary hospital organized the service week and exhibition of the livestock of the district.

Deputy Commissioner of Bogura Md. Saiful Islam presided over the programme while the member of the parliament of Bogura sadar constituemcy Ragebul Ahsan Ripu was present as the chief guest and district livestock officer of Bogura Dr. Md. Anisur Rahman delivered inauguration speech.

Superintendent of Police of Bogura Addl. DIG Sudip Kumar Chakrabarty and District Veterinary Officer Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak were also present in the programme.

Very outset of the programme, the valued guests inaugurated the programme by releasing balloons and festoons in the sky and visited all stalls of the service week and exhibition.

In the ending programme, sadar upazila chairman Abu Sufian Shafik was present as chief guest while deputy director of district artificial breeding centre of Bogura Dr. Md. sarwar Hossain and Sadar livestock officer Dr. Tushar Ahmed were present as the special guests.

The ending programme was presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer of sadar upazila Firoza Parvin and sadar upazila livestock officer Dr. AKM Farhad Noman was the chief coordinator of the exhibition.

In the exhibition, at least 40 stalls of different livestock, animal food, dairy products, and livestock technologies were erected by the organizers. Huge numbers of visitors are seen visiting the stalls with huge fervour.
