With the very outset of new year, the students of Bogura district have seen their respective homes with the scent of new books free of cost.

On the very early of Monday, they went to their respective schools and received their new books as the recent political instabilities could not stop the distribution of books among the students of the district like of districts of the country.

56,01,203 new books among the 9,36,998 students of primary and secondary school levels of 12 upazilas of Bogura district will be distributed in the veryu outset of the year.

District Primary Education Office sources said that on Monday morning, 20,70,000 books were distributed among 4,77,247 students of the district as they got 100 percent books so far.

District Secondary Education sources said that 35,31, 023 new books will be distributed among the 4,59, 750 students of 746 secondary schools on the very outset of the year.

Hazrat Ali, District Secondary Education Officer of Bogura said that the students of the district requires 28,50,851 books whereas they received 23,22,258 new books so far and hopeful to get rest of the books to deliver them among the students.
