TMSS has approved a budget of Tk 14,834 crore in the annual general meeting for the financial year 2023-24 on Wednesday at Hotel Mom in Bogura. The Annual General Meeting was held under the chairmanship of TMSS Board of Directors Chairman Mst Gulnahar Parveen.
Life Member of TMSS and Managing Director of BCL Group TM Ali Haider delivered the welcome address on the occasion.
On the first day of the two-day annual general meeting, the member secretary of the TMSS board of directors and the founding executive director Professor Dr. Hosne Ara Begum unveiled the budget.
TMSS general council member Minti Akhtar Banu presented the annual report on behalf of the member secretary in the meeting. On behalf of the Treasurer, TMSS Board of Directors Advisor Aisha Begum presented the financial report and budget.
In the meeting, the annual report, work plan and the budget for the next financial year were approved by consensus. At the beginning of the meeting, prayers and condolence were expressed on the death of life members, officers and workers of TMSS.
In the meeting, it was decided to implement various projects for the next financial year 2023-24. Notable decisions include improving national and international standards of health services under TMSS Health Sector, modernization of Cancer Centre, Bone Marrow Transplantation, multiple schemes for development of Pundra University, setting up of BCL Flying Academy/BCL Flying Institute along with pilot training program to eliminate pilot problems. It has been decided to increase the skills of the working manpower and provide various facilities in TMSS. Social service officer of Bogura addressed the meeting.
The general public of TMSS was present in the meeting. Apart from this, all the members of the general council of the organization, advisors, consultants, invited guests, heads of various educational institutions, domain heads, venture heads, senior officials of TMSS and BCL Group, Pundra University and heads of all educational institutions run by TMSS were present in the general meeting.
