Election Commissioner Rasheda Sultana on Friday said that the Election Commission is working to conduct elections in a beautiful festive atmosphere with free and fair participation. All preparations are being made to keep the election environment beautiful.Anyone who is negligent will be punished.If anyone has any complaint, immediate action will be taken.

She said a blanket of security will be in place, with a zero-tolerance policy adopted.The environment will improve.Everyone should be aware of the law.It is our responsibility to bring the voters to the candidates and to protect the voting environment.We hope voters can vote without fear.

She said these things while briefing the journalists after exchanging views with the candidates and the law-and-order forces in the Pabna district administration conference room on Friday morning.

Among others Rajshahi Range deputy inspector general of police Md.Anisur Rahman, additional divisional commissioner Jasim Uddin Haider, divisional election officer Delwar Hossain, Pabna district returning officer and deputy commissioner Mohammad Asaduzzaman, superintendent of police Akbar Ali Munshi were present at this time.
