The 18th Annual Commanders Conference of Infantry Regiment of Bangladesh Army was held in Rajshahi Cantonment. Army chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed was present as  the chief guest.

On Monday (December 11) morning, when the Chief of Army Staff arrived at the Bangladesh Infantry Regimental Center, he was welcomed by the General Officer Commanding of the 11th Infantry Division, Major General Khaled Al Mamun.

The Chief of Army Staff while addressing the captains and other officers of the Bangladesh Infantly Regiment units present at the conference recalled the contribution of this regiment in the service of the motherland.

The army chief said, called upon the members of the infantry regiment to be always ready to face the challenges of the 20th century through modern and up-to-date training.
