Two Journalists: Samudra Haque and Ikbal Morshed Ripon of Bogura had been remembered at their sudden death from a grieving meeting. Bogura Press Club arranged the grieving meeting on Friday noon to commemorate the two renowned Journalists of Bogura who passed away recently.

The speakers praised the activities of Samudra Haque, “Senior Staff Reporter” of “The Daily Janakantha”, who could write features in an unparalleled ways and proved the journalism outside the capital and Ikbal Morshed Ripon, “Staff Reporter of ATN Bangla”, was an excellent root-level journalist of Bogura.

The two journalists will remain in the heart of Bogura people for long time as they had been conducting journalism like professional journalism in the northern part of Bangladesh with their utmost merit, honesty, devotion, added the speakers.

Mahamudul Alam Nayan, the president of Bogura Press Club, presided over the meeting while Secretary General of Bogura Press Club Amzad Hossain Mintu conducted the grieving meeting and The District Correspondent of The Asian Age Mamun-ur-Rashid spoke along with other journalists of the club.

Finally a prayer for the department Journalists were also held in the same meeting.
