The authority of Rajshahi Education Board has observed the brutal jail killing day through different programmes at Rajshahi Education Board premise in Rajshahi on early Friday.
The programmes include-hoisting national flags at the very outset of the day followed by the offering flowers at the mausoleum of Shaheed AHM Kamaruzzaman at Kadirgonj and prayer for the four martyred from the jail killing on November 03, 1975.
Later Chairman (Acting) and Secretary of Rajshahi Education Board Professor Md. Humayun Kabir along with Controller of Rajshahi Education Board Professor Md. Ariful Islam and Inspector of colleges Professor Md. Enamul Haque, Inspector of schools Muhammad Ziaul Haque and other high officials of the education board offered floral wreaths on the epitome of Bangabandhu, four martyred leaders and kept silence for 1 minute for honouring the martyrs of Bangladesh.
A discussion on the jail killing day was held at the premise of the epitome of Bangabandhu presided over by the chairman (Acting) and secretary of Rajshahi Education Board Professor Md. Humayun Kabir and controller of Rajshahi Education Board Professor Md. Ariful Islam and Inspector of Colleges Professor Md. Enamul Haque, Inspector of schools Muhammad Ziaul Haque and other high officials of the education board spoke on the very occasion.
President of the discussion and chairman (Acting) and Secretary of Rajshahi Education Board Professor Md. Humayun Kabir said that to make the country leaderless, the anti-independent criminals have killed the whole family of Bangabandhu and his family members brutally on August 15, 1975 and as the part of it, they also killed the four national leaders in the black room of the jail on November 03 in the same year and with the light of true patriotism of them, they have to be enlightened to conduct their state and social responsibilities.
After Asrh prayer, a dowa mahfil was held for the salvation of the souls of the four national leaders at the Mosque of the board campus and the whole programme was conducted by the chief evaluation officer of the education board SM Golam Azam.
