A weaver trader was brutally hacked to death by unidentified assailants in Pabna.The miscreants severed his arms and legs from his body and left it behind. The police recovered the body from the side of Dhopaghata road under Goeshpurunion in Pabna Sadar upazila around 11 am on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Ilias Hossain,28, son of Abdul Mannan a residence of Jalalpur village of the upazila.He was a weaver by profession. According to police and local sources, Ilias left home to Pabna town on Sunday afternoon for business purpose. Since then, there has been no trace of him.Finally, on Monday morning, his dead body was found on the side of the road of Dhopaghata area under Goeshpurunion.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Pabna General Hospital morgue for post-mortem. Father of the deceased, Abdul Mannan, demanded that the killers be quickly identified and brought under the law.

Pabna police officer in charge Kripa Sindhu Bala said, it is believed that miscreants brutally killed him at some time of the night and left the body behind. We are trying to find out the motive behind the murder.
