The 58th foundation anniversary of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BJUS) was celebrated in Bogura with a colorful event. More than six hundred members participated in the foundation anniversary in rally with horse carts, elephants and band parties.
A colorful procession was taken out in the town by the initiative of BJUS district branch. The procession left the Shaheed Khokon Park and went around the various roads of the city and met at Galapatti for discussion.
The speakers said that under the leadership of Bashundhara Group Managing Director and Honorable President of Bajus Sayem Sobhan Anvir, Bajus has become known as the largest and traditional trade organization.
By his hand BAJUS has now united under one umbrella and turned into the largest organization of the country. Bajus President is working to ensure all opportunities for businessmen who are engaged in this profession. He has taken charge of Bajus on the instructions of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Every gold trader will conduct their business activities with transparency. Sayem Sobhan Anveer, president of Bajus, the country’s largest and traditional trade organization, said that the jewelery industry will be the top sector of export earnings if the government’s policy supports it.
With proper encouragement and tax incentives from the government, this industry will be able to make a major contribution to the country’s economy like the garment industry.
