Woman named Ganga Rani (45) has been killed by a bus while crossing the road on Dhaka Bogura highway bogura’s Sherpur upazila.
Deceased Gangarani is the wife of Sunil Chandra of Udgram in Bishalpur Union of the upazila.
The accident took place in front of Walton Showroom at Sherpur Bus Stand on Saturday (9 July) around 2:30 PM.
It is known that she comes to Sherpur bus stand for necessary work from Bishalpur. At that time, while going from the west side of the road to the east side, an unidentified Bogura bound hit her and Ganga Rani died on the spot instantly.
When asked about this, Sherpur Highway Police Camp In-Charge Abdul Wadud said,”well could not catch the bus as it ran away.
“The body will be handed over to the family after the legal process.” he added.
