A robbery took place at Raj potato Cold Storage in Baragachi of Paba Upazila of Rajshahi. On Friday night, three robbers broke the gate of the cold storage and entered the vault and took Tk 30 lakh 67 thousand 72. Which was caught on the CCTV camera of the cold storage.

Liaquat Ali Sarkar, manager of cold storage, said that we have calculated all the money at night. Thursday, Friday and Saturday 30 lakh 67 thousand 72 taka was in the vault.

He said, in the morning, the cleaning staff came and found the office lock broken and everything in disarray. They called us right away. I went and saw that the lock of the hypocrite was also broken. There is no money inside either. City TV footage was later viewed.

The footage shows three robbers breaking into the vault and making away with the money. Two of the three had their mouths open. The faces of the other two are covered.

Liaquat Ali also said that there were three guards of the AID company to guard the cold storage at night. It is believed that they may have a connection with the bandits. Because they told us that they did not hear any sound of breaking the lock. The matter has been reported to the police administration. They are investigating.

Mohammad Ali Sarkar, the owner of Cold Storage said, I could not come to the office yesterday due to my eye operation. He was supposed to take three days money together and deposit it in the bank on Sunday. Never heard of cold storage robbery. He also said that this is the first time such an incident has happened.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Paba police station Mubarak Parvez said that all footage of cold storage has been collected. Three security personnel are also being interrogated. He said that the police are conducting activities to identify those involved in the robbery and recover the money.
