DC saiful visited highway in Sherpur

There will be no traffic jam on the highway even during Eid-ul-Azha said Deputy Commissioner  Saiful Islam. Commenting that everyone’s cooperation is also needed in this regard, he further said that all necessary steps have been taken so that there is no traffic jam on the highway during the upcoming Eid.

He said these things in the press briefing after inspecting the 65 km under construction six-lane highway from Mokatmala in Bogura to Seemabari in Sherpur on Thursday (June 15) afternoon.

In response to another question from the journalists, Deputy Commissioner Saiful Islam said that no kind of leather trading market can be set up on the highway. In the meantime, the matter has been informed to the leather traders.

District Superintendent of Police Sudeep Kumar Chakraborty, District Additional Superintendent of Police (Sherpur Circle) Sajib Shahreen, Sherpur Upazila Executive Officer Sanjida Sultana, Sherpur Municipal Mayor Alha Jane Alam Khoka, Sherpur Upazila Awami League Vice President and Senior Journalist Alhaj Munshi Saiful Bari W, Assistant Commissioner (Land) SM Rezaul Karim, Sherpur police station officer in charge Babu Kumar Saha, Upazila Awami Jubo League President Tarekul Islam Tarek and others were present. Apart from this, journalists from different national and local print and electronic media were also present along with Souz, Highway Police officials.
