The 15th University Day of Pabna Science and Technology University was celebrated on Monday in a joyful and festive atmosphere.

Chairman of Bangladesh Science and Industrial Research Parishad Professor Dr.Md. Aftab Ali Sheikh was present as the chief guest on the occasion. The event was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr.Hafiza Khatun.

Pro-vice-chancellor professor Dr. SM Mustafa Kamal Khan and treasurer Prof. Dr.KM Salah Uddin were present as special guest. 20 renowned scientists of the country participated in the event.

The programme started at 10:30 am with the hoisting of the national and university flags.A joyous procession was taken out and tree planting was done in the university campus.

Best Research Award to teachers, award to meritorious students and financial grants to students and presentation of the university through documentaries.

Day-long celebrations followed by cultural programmes in the afternoon.All teachers-students, officials-employees, guests and media persons of the university are present in the event.
