Each Imam get Tk 5000 & Muezzin get Tk 4000 as interim annual awards under Dupchanchia upazila in Bogura on Tuesday.

Before distributing money, a discussion meeting at Upazila Parishad Jame Masjid was held presided over by President of Upazila Imam Muazzim Samiti Azizur Rahman while Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sumon Zihadi spoke as the chief guest.

Chairman of Upazila Parishad Alhaj Fazlul Haque spoke here in the function as the prime speaker. President of upazila Awami-league Aminur Rahman and Hafez Nur spoke among others.

In the mentioned meeting, a total of Tk 5 lakh 58 thousand was given to 74 khatibs and imams & muazzim of the municipal area.
