A mentally disordered aged man was committed suicide near a Railway Bridge at SadullahNalarpar under Tabokpur union of Ulipurupazila in Kurigram in the morning on Tuesday (April 11).

The deceased was identified as Shahabuddin 65 son of late KetabUddin of village SreeBallabKabirajpara in the same union.

Local sources said he went out from the house in the evening on Monday and did not return.It is suspected that he might have been killed himself with beam of the bridge.

Being informed Ulipurthana police and Railway police from Lalmonirhatrushed to the spot and recovered the hanging body.

Later with the request of his family and villagers the body was handed over without autopsy.

Officer-in-charge of Ulipur police station Sheikh Ashrafuzzaman told that the incident occurs in the Railway Bridge causing they will see the matter.
