An Iftar Party of Nationalist Teachers’ Forum Rajshahi University was held on Monday.

The function was  presided over by President of Nationalist Teachers’ Forum Rajshahi University professor Dr F Nazrul Islam. The prayer and iftar ceremony was hoisted  for the well-being and unconditional release of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, the well-being and long life of BNP Acting Chairman Deshanayak Tareq Rahman and the release and well-being of all tortured prisoners.

National Executive Committee Forest and Environment Affairs Secretary and former Rajshahi Metropolitan BNP President and former RCC Mayor Mohammad Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul,  National Executive Committee Relief and Rehabilitation Co-secretary and former Rajshahi Metropolitan BNP general Advocate Shafiqul Haque Milan were present as special guests.

The welcome speech was made by sub-committee convenor Professor Dr. Aminul Haque. General Secretary of Nationalist Teachers’ Forum Rajshahi University Prof. Dr. Masudul Hasan Khan Mukta, distinguished economist and former VC of Islamic University Professor Rafiqul Islam, Adviser of Nationalist Teachers’ Forum Prof. Dr. Sayedur Rahman Pannu, Dean of Faculty of Arts and Adviser of Nationalist Teachers’ Forum, Prof. Dr. Fazlul Haque, the Dean of the Faculty of Science and the advisor of the forum, Professor Dr. Shahed Zaman, former president of the Nationalist Teachers’ Forum, Prof. Dr. Habibur Rahman, former adviser of the forum, Professor Dr. Enamul Haque and Jatiyatabadi Peshaji Parishad convener officer unit AKM Nazrul Islam Shelley spoke amonh others.

Besides, teachers of various faculties, leaders of Rabi Chhatra Dal, other students and officials were also present.
