The local public representatives have expressed their anger towards the administration due to the sporadic incidents in Sirajganj Belkuchi.
On Wednesday at noon in the hall hall organized by the upazila administration, the public representatives expressed their anger towards the Belkuchi administration by alleging the deterioration of the law and order situation.

Rocky led his forces and snatched the votes from the front of the police administration. When I and my husband stopped them as a local public representative, they severely beat me and my husband. Chhatra League President Rocky has managed to do this only to stay under the umbrella of the MP.
Mirza Solaiman Hossain, Chairman of Belkuchi Sadar Union Parishad, said that our Bhangbari Union Parishad Chairman Zahurul Islam Bhuiyan had to be tortured by this Chhatra League before. Sonia became the chairman yesterday. Who will guarantee that I will not be tomorrow? If we public representatives are subjected to torture like this, how will we protect the common people! What is the role of the administration here?
Baradhul Union Parishad Chairman Achir Uddin Mollah said that the issue of attacks on public representatives is not new in Belkuchi. But there is no proper solution even today. However, if the administration does not see the attack on us, the few people’s representatives we are in this upazila and municipal meeting will unite and give a proper response to these attacks with our own initiative.
Municipal Mayor Sajjadul Haque Reza said, on the morning of March 17, the gangsters of the MP attacked me and the students on the way back after laying wreaths at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the upazila parishad square with the young students of Alhaj Siddique High School.
At this time, the scared students started running around. If the MP does such activities, he is also a representative of the people and we are also a representative of the people. If the administration plays a silent role like this, we will give a strong response along with our workers if necessary.
Aslam Hossain, Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) said that the police administration never works in favor of anyone. Two isolated incidents do not mean that the law and order situation in the area has deteriorated. We are always trying to maintain law and order situation in this area.
