This meeting has been organized in Jamur Islamia High School premises of the upazila on Sunday (March 19) afternoon.

Prizes have been distributed among the winners of the Annual Sports Competition  on the same occasion.

Md.Chhayeduzzaman president of school presided over the program.Heroic Freedom Fighter Alhaj¦ Habibur Rahman,Member of National Parliament(MP) from Bogura-5 (Sherpur-Dhunat) Constituency was the chief guest of the function.

He has called on teachers-students & parents to work in coordination to improve the quality of education. “Just  as teachers have a responsibility towards students, parents also have a responsibility. Coming back home  from school they study properly or not. It is a matter of sorrow that many parents are not aware of this.They do not inquire about the students.Parents need to explore and supervise their children’s talents” he added.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Sherpur Police  Station Ataur Rahman Khondkar, upazila Awami League former organizing secretary Badrul Islam Poddar Bobby, local Kusumbi Union Awami League president Zulfikar Ali Sanju, head teacher Akhtar Uddin Biplab, A. League leader Majnur Rahman Majnu, PS Korban Ali Milan and others spoke on the occasion in the meeting.

At the end, Wonderful Cultural Program has been performed for enjoyment.
