Among them, reading of written poetry, unveiling of newspaper covers, literary discussion and awarding of meritorious persons were  one of them on the occasion.

Meanwhile, before the start of the discussion meeting, a colorful rally of the founding anniversary has been taken out.

The rally circumambulates the important roads of the  municipality town. Later, at around 9:30 PM, a discussion has been held at Sherpur Town Club Public Library Mahila Honours College meeting room under the chairmanship of poet and essayist Professor Khayyam Quader

In the meeting, Rangpur Govt. Begum Rokeya College’s former head of the Bengali Department, Prof. Muhammad Shahidullah, distinguished folk literature researcher, Bogura Govt. Mujibur Rahman Women’s College, Vice-Principal, Prof.Dr. Belal Hossain, General Secretary of Bogura District Sectors Commanders Forum Abdur Rauf Khan, Research Officer of SHOS Syed Shahnewaz Hossain, President of Bogura Writers Circle Islam Rafiq, President of Sahitya Chakra Congregation Member Khandkar Mahbubar Rahman Ranga, eminent poet and literary professor Nur Mohammad Mondal, Dr.  Amirul Islam Chowdhury and others spoke in the meeting.

Sherpur Literary Circle convenor Sultan Mahmud Roni and poet Golam Rasul moderated the event. This year, 6 geniuses have been given special honors by the Sahitya Chakra for their contribution to literature at the anniversary event.

Professor Dr. in prose literature among them.  Mazharul Islam Taru and Shafiq Aziz SM Rahi Award-2023 in Poetry, Bishjit Chowdhury Reborn Sahitya Chakra Award, Musanna Habib and Nusrat Farahana Priya Generation Abdus Salam Award and Ayub Ali, Sherpur correspondent of National Daily Kalerkantha, has been awarded Sahitya Chakra Award in Journalism.

The invited guests of the event honored them by handing over crests and certificates for outstanding contribution. Before this, the guests unveiled the cover of Shasvat Bengal Mukh book.
