Tri-Annual Conference of Bangladesh indigenous Municipal Forum Branch under Sherpur upazila Bogura has been held on Saturday (March 18) afternoon at Municipal Children’s Park premises. In the conference, a 21-member municipal branch committee has been formed with Shyamal Burman as president and Sushil Malik as general secretary. Before this, a colorful rally had been taken out on the occasion of the conference. The rally circumnavigates the local important roads of the town on the occasion.
Bangladesh Awami League Sherpur Municipal Branch President Sarwar Rahman Mintu formally inaugurated this conference under the chairmanship of tribal forum leader Shyamal Burman.Bogura District Tribal Forum convener Vasudev Roy Bagdi spoke as the chief guest in the meeting.
Santosh Kumar Mahato, Vice President of the Central Committee of Jatiya Hindu Mahajot, Nimai Mahato, Legal Affairs Secretary of Adivasi Forum Sirajganj District Branch, Bimal Ravidas, Member of Bogura District Branch, Nur Alam Sani, General Secretary of Upazila Volunteer League, Sangram, General Secretary of Upazila Puja Udjad Parishad. Kundu, convener of Sherpur upazila branch of Adivasi Forum Ajay Mahato, convener of Dhunat upazila branch Sushil Bagdi, local leaders of the forum Akhil Burman and Bablu Das spoke in the meeting as special guests.
At the end, a wonderful cultural program has been performed on the premiers.
