A cutting pieces of tree and loaded track lost control over the steering and fell into a road side room killing a minor boy at Jatrapur union under Kurigram Sadar upazila at 10.30 pm on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Isa Miah 07 son of Shafikul Islam of village Jatrapur union parishad para under Sadarupazila.

Local sources said the accident took place when the pieces of cutting Shimul variety of tree were carried to Dhaka from Jatrapur and fell in a road side room from embankment road and killed a minor boy while he was sleeping in the room.The driver and the helper of the track manages to escape after the incident.

Later police and Fire Fighters with the help of local people recovered the dead body.

Officer-in-charge of Kurigramsadar police station Khan Mohammad Shahrear admitted the incident and told that police forces sent to the spot.Lawful action will be taken, he added.
