Ajdar and Hafizur, two of the five gift recipients of Chakrishnapur Guchchagram, are van drivers by profession. Talking to them, it is known that because there is no road, they have to keep their vans in rented places. The van has to be guarded on the main road in the presence of family members during lunch time due to fear of theft.

Five houses for the landless and homeless were distributed to five beneficiaries under the Prime Minister’s Asharyan-2 Project Disaster Resilient House Construction at Chakrishnapur Guchchagram in Nimpara Union on December 23, 2020 under the Rural Infrastructure Kabita Program.

The land and houses allotted to the landless are located about half a kilometer from the main road. To get to the main road from the house one has to go through a narrow lane of other land. Acknowledging the public suffering due to lack of roads, Nimpara UP Chairman Mizanur Rahman said that he has already informed the upazila administration.

In this context, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sohrab Hossain said that he is aware of the fact that there is no road in Chakrishnapur Guchchagram. Action will be taken soon subject to site inspection.
