Some 5000 winter clothes have been distributed among 2 thousand cold families in Belkuchi of Sirajganj. These winter clothes were distributed in the Mulkandi market of Belkuchi Sadar Union of the upazila on the initiative of Grameen Uniqlo throughout the day on Friday.

Yuki Wakaizumi, Managing Director of Grameen Uniqlo, Aslam Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Belkuchi Police Station, Solaiman Hossain, Chairman of Belkuchi Union, Rezaul Karim, General Secretary of Belkuchi Press Club, Jamuna TV Senior Reporter Golam Mostafa Rubel, UP member Nazrul Islam and others were present during the distribution of winter clothes.

After the distribution program, Grameen Uniqlo managing director Yuki Wakaizumi said Grameen Uniqlo is being run as a social business. As part of our social responsibility we are undertaking various activities from time to time. As a part of that, we are distributing winter clothes to the needy. We will continue such activities in the future as well.
