Female calves were distributed among the poor and needy people and educational materials were also distributed among the poor and meritorious students at Joybhoga Dakhil Madrasa premise of Gabtali Upazila in the district on Monday afternoon with the financial support of Global Family Movement Center in South Korea.

Former Chairman of Gabtali Upazila Parishad  Abdul Malek Sarkar was in the chair. Bogura Municipality Mayor Rezaul Karim Badsha spoke as the chief guest on the occasion.

Yoo Sung Joo, chairman of the Global Family Movement Center in South Korea, spoke as an invited guest.

Mahbubur Rahman Chhotan, Director of Global Family Movement Center in Bangladesh organizer of the event where social worker and former student leader Abdus Salam, Journalist Abdur Rahim Bogra, Mahfuz Mondal were spoke as special guests. Abdur Rashid, President of Jayabhoga Hafezia Madrasa,
Jayabhoga Dakhil Madrasa including Super Samachuddin among were present.

At the end of the ceremony, 10 poor men and women of the area were given each a female calve to make them self-reliant. Khata and pens were distributed and one-time stipend cash and educational materials to hundreds of poor and meritorious students from different areas of Bogrua.
