A grand farewell was given to the retired Vice-principal of Govt. Azizul Haque College in Bogura Professor Abdul Quader by the department of English under Govt. Azizul Haque College of Bogura on Monday morning.

The Chief Guest in the farewell program was the Principal of Govt. Azizul Haque College Prof. Md. Shajahan Ali while Special Guests were former head of the department Prof. Md. Shafiqul Amin, Prof. Nazrul Islam, Prof. Mir Abdur Razzak, Prof. SM Zahid Sarwar Khan, Prof. Abdur Rab Nishtar, and General Secretary of Teachers’ Association of the college Prof. Mahatab Uddin, Vice-President of Azizul Haque College English Department Alumni Association (AHCEDAA) Assistant Professor and Journalist Mamun-ur-Rashid and others.

The program was presided over by the acting head of the department Prof. Kabir Rana and the whole program was conducted by Assistant Professor Rakibul Islam. All other teachers, former and existing students of the department were also present simultaneously.

Very outset of the program, floral wreaths were handed over to the guests by the students and teachers of the department.

The speakers mentioned the professional life of the career of the out-going professor as well as his administrative success as a vice-principal of the college.

The farewell taking Professor Abdul Quader (Khaym Quader) said that he had tried his best to give the utmost services to the students and asked his students to be sincere in student lives to build up their career well.
