Sajedur Rahman Sabuj (Dainik Karatoa) president and Nazrul Islam Milon (Channel S) general secretary has been elected in the election.

The election was held in a cordial and festive atmosphere from 10 am on Saturday morning till 1 pm. In this election, Arifur Rahman Mithu (Today’s newspaper) and Shaheen Alam (Dainik Mukt Sakal) are the vice presidents, Mohammad Rumel Ashraf Shiplu (Dainik Uttaran) is the joint secretary, Dulal Hossain is the treasurer (Dainik Alokit Pratidin), Gholam Azam Shamim is the sports secretary (Dainik Alokit Pratid).  Muktbarta), three Md. Safiqul Islam Safiq (Dainik Mahasthan), Shree Suchandan Sarkar (Dainik Amar Sundar Desh) and Chanwar Hossain (Dainik Alo Pratidin) have been elected as executive members.

Md. Munjurul Islam Ripon has been elected unopposed as office secretary.

 36 of the 37 voters of the press club have cast their right to vote.

After counting the votes, Election Commissioner and Returning Officer Education Officer Mahbubul Islam announced the results. He was assisted by Assistant Secondary Officer Jahangir Alam. 32 candidates participated in the election for 11 posts of the executive council.
