The 42th Commanding Officers under Shajoya Core was held at Armed Core Centre School in Bogura Cantonment of Majhira in Bogura on Thursday noon.

The Chief of Bangladesh Army General S.M Shafiuddin Ahmed, SBP, OSP, ndu, psc, Ph.D was present as the chief guest.

The acting GOC of Army training and doctrine command Major General S.M Kamrul Hasan, ndc, hdmc, psc and GOC of 11 Infantry division and Area Commander of Bogura area Major General Md. Kahled Al-Mamun pbgm, ndc, psc greeted the army boss when he reached at the core centre in Bogura Cantonment. Meanwhile, the martyred of the Shajoya core were recalled by offering floral wreath at “Shajoya Chironton”.

The Army Chief emphasised on the development of Shajoya core, enhanve of professional skills and exchanged his views on the activities in home and abroad. He also recalled the glorious tradition of the core and the sacrifice of the core member for the betterment of the motherland. Then urged the members of the core to develop skills to face the challenges if the 21th century.

Later the Army chief along with other high officials of the cantonment visited the campus of Bogura Cantonment Army Medical Campus and gave directions to develop the campus and its education friendly environment too.
