On the occasion of the inauguration of the Padma Bridge, a huge joyous procession marched around the town at Sherpur in Bogura on the initiative of Awami League and its affiliates.

The joyous procession started the Upazila Council on Saturday (June 25) at 11am. It then encircled  important roadds  of Sherpur upazila town of Bogura district.

At this time Sherpur Upazila Awami League President Adv.Golam Farooq, General Secretary Sultan Mahmud, Municipal Awami League President Sarwar Rahman Mintu, General Secretary Golam Hossain (Newly elected),Awami League Leader Shahjamal Siraj, Mohammad Ali Muntu, SM Hafizul Islam, General Secretary of Upazila Juba League Mostafizur Rahman Bhutto, President of Upazila Swechchhasebak League Rezaul Karim Siplop,General Secretary Noor Alam Sunny, Upazila Sramik League convener Mostanshir Billah Ruhan, Member Secretary Karimul Islam, Upazila Chhatra League President Arifur Rahman Shuvo and leaders of various union committees and leaders and activists of affiliated organizations were present on the occasion.
