Government financial assistance has been distributed in favor of general voluntary organizations by Bangladesh National Social Welfare Council organized in Bogura on Tuesday.

To eradicate poverty from the distress people across the country, government has taken such like initiatives. Total Tk 2596000 will distribute among 129 general voluntary organizations in the district.

Before distributing cheaque, a discussion meeting arranged by district social service (DSS) office was held presided over by deputy director of DSS Abu Sayed Md Kawsar Rahman while Deputy Commissioner Md Ziaul Hoque was speaking as chief guest.

Besides, members of general voluntary organizations along with elite persons were present in the function.
