A mobile court fined of bride’s father of taka five thousand for holding marriage ceremony of his daughter in the strict lockdown period violating government rule at Dharmopur village under Kashipur union of PhulbariupazilainKurigram.

PhulbariUapazilaNirbahi officer Sumon Das ensured the incident on Friday. He said upazila administration is being monitored regularly to maintain the social distance, wearingmask, unnecessary wondering here and there etc. Violating the strict lockdown they arranged the marriage ceremony secretly.

The guardian performed the marriage ceremony of his daughter on Thursday. Later day long gathering with various kinds of people including relatives and rich food were also served. Hearing the news a mobile court rushed to the spot and fined Taka five thousand ofAbdur Rashid,father of the bride.
