A virtual meeting of the District Corona Coordination Committee has been held in Joypurhat. Abu Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan, Whip of Jatiya Sangsad and Organizing Secretary of Awami League, addressed as the chief guest at the zoom meeting held from the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner this afternoon.

Deputy Commissioner Shariful Islam presided over the function. The meeting was addressed by Superintendent of Police Masum Ahmed Bhuiyan PPM, District Council Chairman Arifur Rahman Rocket, District Civil Surgeon Dr. Wazed Ali, District Livestock Officer Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman, Supervisor of Modern District Hospital Dr. Rashed Mubarak Jewel, UP Chairman Ahsan Kabir Appalab, Independent, Zahurul Islam etc.

The chief guest at the meeting said that all the towns and villages of the district should work to ensure compliance with the health rules of the corona and compliance with the lockdown. He said there is no alternative for everyone to be aware and vigilant in controlling this disease.

He said that one should wear 100 percent mask and follow physical distance and health rules. He said that people should not be forced to follow this rule. The meeting was attended by the people’s representative, Imam, Rover Scout Leader.
