Satkhira Two arrested for coming to DC with fake signature recommendation of state minister for public administration, job now in jail

 Two youths have been caught forging the signature of State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain with a letter of recommendation from the Satkhira Deputy Commissioner. Fraudster Imran Hossain, son of Alamgir Hossain of Mahandi village in Tala upazila of the district, came to the office of Deputy Commissioner SM Mostafa Kamal on Tuesday afternoon. But as the matter was suspicious, he immediately contacted the Ministry of Public Administration and arrested the youth. Later, Mama Imdadul Islam, who was with Imran Hossain, was also arrested.

Meanwhile, the arrested fraudster Imran Hossain said that he applied for a job as a certificate assistant in the deputy commissioner’s office. After that, he started holding debates in different quarters for the job. At one stage, with the help of another person from Tala, a contract worth Tk 14 lakh was signed with 4 people from Jessore and Kaliganj. According to him, the fraudsters forged the signature of the state minister for public administration and wrote a letter of recommendation to the Satkhira deputy commissioner and asked him to deliver it through candidate Imran Hossain. Imran came with the letter to the deputy commissioner at noon and was arrested.

Executive Magistrate Indojit Saha said the offender was only a freighter. Therefore, as the jurisdiction of the mobile court is out of order, the OC of Satkhira Sadar Police Station has been instructed to take necessary action and the detainees have been handed
