On Sunday (February 08, 2021 AD) at 09.50 pm, based on a tip-off, the company commander of the special company of this battalion, Assistant Superintendent of Police Muhammad Mohiuddin Miraj, led a special expedition of RAB-12 special company to the village of Sirajganj. A temporary check post was set up on a paved road in front of Mama-Bhagne Hotel and Restaurant adjacent to Rajshahi-bound highway. Besides, 01 bus ticket and 01 mobile used for buying and selling drugs were also seized from him.

The arrested accused are Mohammad Sobhan (30), father Mohammad Abdul Gani Sarkar, Sang-Moazzempur, Thana-Haimchar, District-Chandpur.

The arrested drug dealer was handed over to Salanga police station of Sirajganj district with the recovered evidence while filing a case under section 19 (b) of section 37 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2016.
