District administration of Bogura and District information officer with the aid of UNICEF jointly arranged a consultancy meeting on early marriage, women and children violence at DC office conference room “Karatoa” in Bogura on Sunday afternoon.

The publicity project on the development of Children, adolescence and Women in Bangladesh, the consultancy meeting was held where the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bogura Hosna Afroza presided over the meeting.

Valued guests were Superintendent of Police (SP) of Bogura Md. Zedan Al-Musa, Civil Surgeon Dr. Shafiul Azam, Deputy Director (LG) of Bogura district administration Masum Ali Beg, ADC (General) of Md. Mezbaul Karim, District Social Service Officer Kawsar Rahman, other heads of different departments, schools, journalists, marriage registers, learners and others.

Very outset of the meeting, District Senior Information Officer of Bogura Muhammad Mahfuzar Rahman presented the power-point display before the presence.

Speakers urged all to come forward to stop early marriage and violence against women and children so that they can flourish their worth. Otherwise, the unsecured children mean unsecured future of the nation. In this regard, the role of mother at home and teachers in the instructions cannot be denied at all.
