A 40th anniversary celebration and get-together of SSC 1984 batch was held in Chapainawabganj with the slogan “One soul, one life – we are Churasian”. On Sunday (April 14) morning, a colorful procession started from Nawabganj Government College grounds and ended at the same place after circling various roads of the city.

At this time, about hundred former students of the district participated in the procession. After the procession, various programs were organized throughout the day in the auditorium room of the college organized by the SSC 1984 batch.

Cultural programs, raffle draws and courtesy awards are organized as special events.

In the event of the 40th anniversary festival and reunion 2024 celebration committee, the convenor of the festival committee was Akhtarul Islam, member secretary Rakibur Rahman Rakib, convenor of the finance and purchase sub-committee was Rezaur Rahman Reza, member Mosiul Karim Babu, convenor of the publicity and publication sub-committee Professor Dr. Mazharul Islam Toru, Member Jonab Ali, Convener of Reception Sub-Committee Hasinur Rahman, Convener of Entertainment Sub-Committee Israel Hossain, Member Shahidul Islam Shahid, Convener of Discussion and Cultural Sub-Committee Shahnewaz Khan Sina, Convener of Decoration and Decoration Sub-Committee Abu Hena Mustafa Kamal Bokul.

The organizers of the celebration board said that many events have been organized to celebrate this day after 40 years.
