The campus of 4-APBN of Bogura has been recently changed so far by the initiative of the existing Commanding Officer (CO) of 4-Armed Police Battalion (APBN) of Bogura Additional DIG Syed Abu Sayem, the change-maker, in the activities in combating against narcotics, arms, smuggling and terrorism and continuing the renovation efforts.

After joining in 4-APBN, the CO has taken some positive initiatives to change the shape and colour inside the 4-APBN turning into it as a new bride to change the mindset of the forces for conducting their respective responsibilities.

Last few years, the remarkable renovation activities include installation of Shaheed Minar and Shadhinata Chattar’71 inscribing historic Speech of Bangabandhu, Modernisation of auditorium in the campus of APBN School and College, construction of drill shade, beautification of APBN, Badminton Club and  Indoor Court, innovation of the office of Commanding Officer and other officers, construction of Rest house, Salute Box, relief distribution among the corona-pandemic victim poor people, Tree Plantation, and finally the erection of the greatly designed building for the office of the CO.

Besides, the prudent CO Additional DIG Syed Abu Sayem has been fighting against narcotics, arms, smuggling and terrorism successfully in the 16 districts of two northern divisions and each and every, the criminals have been arrested, narcotics have been recovered from their possessions.

After his joining, the CO Additional DIG Syed Abu Sayem has speeded up the activities of the Operations and Intelligence Cell of the 4-APBN and the forces have conducted many successful drives under his jurisdiction in the 16 districts and recovered arms, narcotics, vehicles, cell phones, and arrested terrorists, narcotic and arms traders and lodged cases with GDs in different Police Stations in those districts and huge recovery has been conducted so far.

Guardians of the school expressed great rejoice after seeing the effort of installing “Shaheed Minar” and “Shadinata Chattar’71” inscribing the unparallel Speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman recently as their sons and daughters will know the true history of Freedom Fighting, the sacrifice of the freedom fighters and freedom loving people of the country through the speech.

Teachers of the APBN School seeking anonymity said that they hoped, the school would go ahead and hold its best position in the arena of education with the leadership of present Commanding Officer (CO) of 4-APBN Additional DIG Syed Abu Sayem.

Offices and forces said that they have been greatly blessed with the presence of the CO who has changed the overall situation of the APBN and he has speeded up the operations, conducted drives with profound supervision and ensured visible internal and infrastructural development inside the APBN too.

Contacted, Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police Syed Abu Sayem, the existing Commanding Officer (CO) of 4-APBN said that to discharge his duty properly, he has been conducting anti-drug, anti-smuggling and anti-terrorism drives in his jurisdiction and to make the forces, officers mentally warm up, through different motivational speeches and encouragement through different programmes.

To make Bangladesh as Sonar Bangla, they should all work together with same effort and same enlightened with patriotic zeal, added the CO of 4-APBN Additional DIG Syed Abu Sayem.
