RAB-12, Bogura Camp conducted an operation on a paved road in front of Shah Sultan College Gate in Latifpur Dakshinpara under Shajahanpur Police Station of the district on the basis of secret information arrested 3 drug peddlers.

Papia Begum (28), wife of Mohammad Ali of Shajapur (Panditpara) village of Shajahanpur upazila, 12 grams of heroin and Md  Mizanur Rahman (35), son of late Bajitullah of Bri Kushtia village of Shajahanpur upazila as well as  Azahar Ali Son Md Abdul Mottaleb (38) were arrested with a total of 96 pieces of yaba on Saturday.

The arrested drug dealers have been handed over to Shajahanpur police station in Bogra district for taking legal action against them.

Squadron Leader Md Sohrab Hossain said such anti-drug campaign activities of RAB will continue and will be intensified in future. They firmly believe that such activities of the law enforcement agencies can make Bangladesh a crime free country.
