Youth Leadership Training on VfCD held in Bogura

Youth Leadership Training on Volunteerism for Community Development was held at Hotel Look at Me in Bogura on Wednesday.

This leadership training was organized by the voluntary organization ‘ SheEqual’. A total of 24 students from different colleges and universities from the district and outside the district were participated.

Tamima Nasreen, CEO of SheEqual, was the trainer of this program. The main objectives of this training were to prepare youth for voluntary work for social change, understand the power of volunteerism, deepen understanding of youth leadership, share knowledge, exchange best practices, network and build a community.

Participants were participated various learning sessions to identify various social problems, cause and solution through team work and participating in different educational games.

Journalist Hasibur Rahman Bilu, Women and Children Help Desk Officer of Kahalu Police Station Rozina Khatun and Executive Director Alokit Bogura Advocate Ferdousi Akter Runa spoke here in the training session.
