Youth named Kanai Basfor (20) died after falling into gas while cleaning a septic tank of home of Paritosh Chandra of Dakshinsahapara on Tuesday afternoon May 24,2022 under Sherpur upazila of Bogura district.
The deceased was identified as son of Patla Basfor of Uttar Sahapara of the town.
It is learned that Kanai Basfor went inside Paritosh Chandra’s house at 12 noon on Tuesday to clean the safety tank. He then fell into the tank and died there. Later, after much searching, Kanai’s brother Anand went to the tank of Paritosh’s house and found Kanai’s dead body. Then they informed the police. Police went to the spot and recovered the body.
Officer-in-charge of Sherpur Police Station Shahidul Islam said, “The body was handed over to the family as there was no complaint from the family of the deceased”
“A UD case has been also filed in this incident” he added.
