Youth has been arrested for trying to rape a housewife of Ramnagar village of Garidah union under Sherpur upazila of Bogura district.
In this connection , a case has been registered in Sherpur police station on Saturday (March 4) under the Prevention of Women and Children Repression Act.
The arrested youth is Sabbir Hossain (20), son of Abdus Salam of Ramnagar village of Garihdah Union of the upazila.

It is known that the housewife went to cut the grass of the goats in the Kanpur river bank of Garidah union on Friday afternoon. At this time, he found her alone attaked with slap and hugged him. Later, Kachi grabbed the housewife’s neck and tried to rape her by touching the sensitive parts of her body.
When the housewife screamed and screamed, the lustful Sabbir Hasen failed to rape and ran away. Later that night, the housewife filed a case under section 9 (4) (b) of the Women and Children Repression Act of 2000 (Amendment 2003) at Sherpur police station. Case No. Case No.-04
