A workshop on potato production, preservation, selling and uses was held at Thengama Mohila Shabuj Shangho (TMSS) Amusement Park at Nawdapara area in Bogura on Monday noon.

Bangladesh Cold Storage Association (BCSA) arranged the workshop with the collaboration of Agro-products Business Promotion Counsel (APBPC) under the Ministry of Commerce of Bangladesh.

President of Bangladesh Cold Storage Association Mostafa Azad Chowdhury Babu was present as the chief guest and the workshop was presided over by the Executive Director of TMSS Prof. Dr. Hosne Ara Begum.

Special guests were Director of BCSA and Senior Vice-President of Greater Bogura Cold Storage Owners’ Association Abul Kalam Azad, Director of BCSA Golam Sarwar Robin.

Speakers were Managing Director of RD Cold Storage of Joypurhat Prodip Kumar Prasad, Additional Secretary (Retired) and Chief Executive Officer of BCSA Agriculturist Shushanto Kumar Pramanik, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE), Bogura, Agriculturist Motlubor Rahman and the Mechanical-cum-Refrigeration Engineer of BCSA Abdur Razzak and others.
