One wood cutter died falling from tree at Ulipurupazila in Kurigram at noon on Saturday (January 22).

The deceased was identified as Amin Hossain 46 son of late Jabru Sheikh of village AnantapurMiazi para under Hatia union of the upazila.

Local sources said the wood cutter went to the house of Sures Chandra Mondol at Kadamtala village under Hatia union to cut the selling tree. When he was cutting branches of the tree his cutting weapon slipped and cut on his head. Consequently he fell down from the tree and died on the spot.

Amin Hossain was a wood cutter in profession. He maintained his family to cut tree of others. He left behind his wife and two sons.Health Assistant of Hatia union Abdul Wahab said the wood cutter died before he was taken to Hospital.

Officer-in-charge of Ulipur police station ImteazKabir admitted the incident and told that after getting information police forces sent to the spot.

However,a pathetic shock was prevailing there following the incident.

Earlier,another wood cutter Nares Chandra 40 died falling from tree at Choukidarpara under KurigramSadarupazila on January 19.
