Kurigram Passport office authority handed over two Rihinga women as they came to issue passport hiding their address at noon on Thursday (January 19).

They are Khurshida Akhter 19 daughter of Sayed Ahmed and SayedaKhatun of Balukhali-1,D block of ChottogramRohinga camp and Hasina Akhter Baby 18 daughter of Tayab Ali and Arfa Begum of block 9 camp no 27.

Deputy Assistant Director (DAD) of Kurigram Regional Passport office Kabir Hossain told that HasinaAkhter Baby using fake address as BepariparaBaleamariof CharRajibpurupazila and her father AzizulHaque and mother Noornesa Begum. On the other hand,Khurshida Akhter used herself as Adija Akhter (khurshida) fake address DakkhinBaunearchar under Nayarhat union of Chilmariupazila and showsFaizar Sheikh as father and RabeyaKhatun as mother. They came for issuing passport using fake birth certificate in two places.

While suspecting and after interrogation the admitted that they are Rohinga. Later they were handed over to KurigramSadarthana police.

Officer-in-charge of KurigramSadar police station Khan Mohammad Shahrear told that after primary interrogation they admitted that they came from Cox’s Bazar BalukhaliRohinga camp. They applied for passport to go to Saudi Arabia managing illegal birth certificate.
