A two-day inter-university IT fair concluded at Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST) on Sunday.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. HafizaKhatuninaugurated the IT fair which organized by the Computer Science and Engineering Department in the seminar room of the related department on Saturday. After the inauguration, a day-long project exhibition was organised there.

In the second session, a seminar titled Gallery-2 ‘Biomedical Engineering and Neuroimaging: Current Perspective and Potential’ was organised.Tonima S. Ali, a teacher of the faculty of medicine and health, university of Sydney in Australia, was present as a seminar speaker.

Chief Guest Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. HafizaKhatun highlighted the importance of IT fair and said, ‘IT is very important for the current world system.

The opening day was attended as a special guest –pro vice-chancellor Prof Dr. Mustafa Kamal Khan, Prof of treasury. KM Salah Uddin.

Chairman of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering Abdur Rahim presided over the seminar and conducted the departmental teacher Nitun Kumar Poddar.

The keynote speaker Tonima S. Ali described the function of different parts of the human body, especially the brain, through the projector.

Former vice chancellor of First Capital University of Bangladesh Hazrat Ali, dean of various faculties, registrar, proctor Kamal Hossain, senior teachers, officers and students were present.

The last day of the IT fair concluded with programming contest, IQ quiz, farewell, prize distribution and cultural program on Sunday.

Students of all departments of the university participated in it.
