Uttering the slogan “Safety Food for secured life and health”, a training for food businessmen on safety food affairs followed by hygiene equipment distribution was held at Holel Café Bar B Q restaurant in Bogura on Friday afternoon.

Secretary to Bangladesh Safety Food Authority Md. Akhtar Mamun was present as the chief guest while ADM of Bogura Md. Pm Imrul Kayesh, Senior district information officer Md. Mahfuzar Rahman, Monitoring Officer of Safety Food Authority, Gaibandha and Gaibandha Safety food Officer Md. Milon Mia and Assistant Director of National Consumer Rights department Md. Mehedi Hasan were simultaneously present in the training programme.

The chief guest said that the problem of adulterated food is a big issue and all should work together for ensuring safety food for the people of motherland and to ensure safety food, more and more awareness programme will be held for making Bogura as a model district in the country and to free people from all kinds of serious diseases.

District Food Safety Officer of Bogura Md. Rasel presided over the whole programme and after training session, hygiene equipment distribution, a colourful rally was brought out by District Food Safety Authority and marched passed in the main roads of the town in the evening.
